Originally released in 2001 on Cold Meat Industry's classical / medieval music sub-label Cruel Moon International, Sueños is divided into three distinct parts with four tracks allocated to each of them.
The first section (titled Ego Promitto Domino) brings a strong Mediterranean warmth to Ataraxia's typical repertoire of troubadour songs, with Saderaladon being a particularly memorable track. L'Âme D'Eau is strictly based on medieval ballads while the last part (Sandy Dunes) concludes the album with a more meditative and introspective tone.
